Closer To A Cure For The Common Cold

The common cold is all too familiar to everyone.  While science has made incredible progress in the fight against diseases and illness, a cure to the common cold has eluded doctors.  A cure may be on the horizon though, as researchers have developed a catalog of the viruses vulnerabilities, after decoding the genomes of the 99 strains of the common cold virus.

While a cure is still far off, the best present preventative of the common cold is frequent hand washing.  And while I’m not sure it helps at all, I like to think that holding my breath when someone sneezes is a good idea.
