A new study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism shows the more obese a man gets, the worse his sex life will be. The study noted lower testosterone levels and lower sexual quality of life in men with a higher body mass index (BMI). After gastric bypass surgery, hormone levels and sexual quality of life increased. Though it was not studied in this particular research, one can assume that other methods of lowering BMI like dieting and exercise would produce similar results.
