Studies have suggested that some women use smoking as a weight-loss tool. According to a new Finnish study though, smoking could actually lead to obesity. The study specifically looked at people who had smoked in their teenage years, concluding that teens who smoke heavily are more likely to grow up to be fat. Some doctors are skeptical of the study though, and feel that the higher likelihood of obesity could be because smokers generally have poor health habits.
