Lung Cancer Still A Big Killer

Despite efforts to reduce lung cancer deaths, it still remains a big killer.  More people in the United States die each year from lung cancer than breast, prostate, colon, liver, kidney and melanoma cancers combined.  The U.S. National Cancer Institute has reported that tobacco caused 90 percent of those deaths.  Doctors say that anti-smoking measures have been the only effective weapon against the disease.
