Nasonex should only be used by patients over the age of 2. Before you use Nasonex for the first time, you need to prime the pump. Hold the bottle in the air, and squeeze the pump 10 times or until a fine mist appears. If you have not used the bottle for more than 1 week, re-prime the pump by spraying it twice before using it. Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after two weeks, or if you think you may be experiencing a side effect.
